Markdown to PDF
Markdown to PDF for Mac.
Minidocs turns a Markdown source into a polished PDF with live preview, visual style controls, math, diagrams, tables, images, and code highlighting built in.
Write Markdown, see the PDF as you work
Minidocs keeps the source and final document side by side. You write Markdown in the editor, and the preview updates into the document your reader will see. That makes it easier to catch awkward page breaks, oversized images, long tables, and code blocks before export.
Export PDFs with technical content
PDF export supports the parts of Markdown that matter for real work: fenced code blocks, tables, images with captions, LaTeX-style math rendered with KaTeX, Mermaid diagrams, callouts, citations, and generated tables of contents. The goal is to keep one Markdown file as the source of truth while still producing a finished PDF.
Style PDFs without editing CSS
Use visual controls for font, size, line height, paper size, margins, colors, headings, and saved presets. Minidocs is built for people who want Markdown speed without spending export time fighting a print stylesheet.
Good fits
- Course handouts, essays, and research notes.
- Engineering RFCs and technical proposals.
- Product specs, launch docs, and internal reports.
- Markdown documents that need math, diagrams, code, or tables.
Markdown to PDF FAQ
Can I export one Markdown file to both PDF and slides?
Yes. The same source can render as a document or as a slide deck, so you do not need to maintain duplicate content.
Can I use Mermaid diagrams in the PDF?
Yes. Mermaid diagrams render in the preview and export into the final PDF.
Does Minidocs require an account?
No. Minidocs has no account system and no subscription. Documents are stored locally or in iCloud Documents.
