Live preview
A Markdown editor with live PDF preview.
Minidocs keeps your Markdown source and final output side by side. Write on the left, preview the finished PDF, slides, or HTML on the right, and export without leaving the flow.
Preview the output, not just styled Markdown
Many Markdown editors preview HTML. Minidocs is built around the final document. The preview can show PDF-style pages, slides, or HTML output, so you can judge layout, spacing, figures, diagrams, math, and tables while editing.
Click between source and preview
For long drafts, staying oriented matters. Minidocs helps connect the source section you are editing with the matching area in the preview, so you do not have to hunt through a finished document manually.
Built for finished documents
The live preview supports rich Markdown blocks: code highlighting, tables, images, KaTeX math, Mermaid diagrams, callouts, citations, and generated tables of contents. It is designed for documents that need to be handed to readers, not just notes for yourself.
Markdown live preview FAQ
Does Minidocs preview PDF while I type?
Yes. Minidocs shows a live document preview beside the editor and can export the result to PDF.
Can I preview slides from Markdown?
Yes. Switch the preview mode to Slides to render the same source as a deck.
Is there a browser version?
The Mac app is native, but the website includes a limited playground so you can try the basic editor and preview workflow in a browser.
